วันที่ 8 ตุลาคม 2564 วิทยาลัยนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา  ขอแสดงมุฑิตาจิตแด่ รศ .ดร. สมเดช รุ่งศรีสวัสดิ์ ในโอกาสเกษียณอายุราขการแต่ปัจจุบันรับดำรงตำแหน่งบริหารในฐานะ คณบดีวิทยาลัยสหเวชศาสตร์    ซึ่งในอดีตท่านเป็นโมเดลสำคัญที่มีบทบาทและเป็นผู้บริหารในยุคก่อร่าง นิเทศศาสตร์ ม.ราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา
