Sittakorn Eiamyim, a Communication Arts student from Suan Nanthi College, overcame more than 300 applicants to be selected as one of 30 participants in the 28th "Little Pigeon" training program. He will join the winning group from the practical training organized by the Thai Journalists Association. The program aims to enhance students' knowledge, understanding, and essential skills for news work. The training focuses on learning a systematic news-making process, from gathering information and selecting news topics to planning and conducting fieldwork. From basic news reporting to effective news presentation, the training was honored by the presence of highly skilled news professionals, including Busarin Worasomith, Katchapong Leelapongrit, Sorawich Boonchankong, Nipawan Kaewrakmook, N. Rinee Ruangnu, Afnan Abdullah, Anchan Anchaisri, and many others. They shared their knowledge on news reporting topics such as feature writing, identifying key issues, using AI in news reporting, and the responsibility of journalists to society. Throughout the training, students participated in both lectures from experienced news professionals and practical activities. These activities encouraged students to think critically, analyze, formulate questions, and conduct news reporting based on simulated scenarios, providing a deeper understanding of the real-world work of journalists. The training also provided opportunities for students to exchange ideas and experiences. Students were divided into five editorial teams for practical news reporting exercises. Mr. Sittakorn's team, assigned to the pink team, won first place for their news presentation and production, reflecting their ability to work effectively as a team and apply the knowledge gained from the training. This project was held from January 14–17, 2026 at the Best Western Hotel, Chatuchak, and organized by the Thai Journalists Association.
