The College of Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, welcomed Silla University, South Korea, for the 4th annual International Cultural Communication Student Exchange Program.

The College of Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a student exchange project with SILLA University from August 23-25, 2026. Associate Professor Dr. Somthop Kaewcheua, Vice Dean for Administration, and Dr. Savitree Suwanno, Vice Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance, along with the Head of the College of Communication Arts Office and students, warmly welcomed the faculty and students from SILLA University in Busan, South Korea.

This project aims to foster academic collaboration with Silla University in South Korea, with the key objectives of building an international cooperation network. It seeks to work with foreign higher education institutions to develop and modernize communication studies curricula, promote cultural communication, language use, and cultural exchange, while strengthening existing relationships and building lasting partnerships.

During the event, faculty and students from Silla University experienced Thai culture through activities such as dressing in traditional Thai costumes from the reign of King Rama V, touring and learning about the important history of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University at the Saithutthanaphol Building, and visiting and learning about Thai culture at Wat Makut Kasatriyaram in Bangkok. They also sampled Thai food such as Pad Thai and Thai desserts like Luk Chup and Khanom Lueam Kluen, and experienced life in the communities along the Chao Phraya River.
