On February 10, 2026,
second-year students from the Public
Relations and Strategic Communication
program at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University's College of
Communication Arts visited One Bangkok
to observe the press conference for the
"The Greatest Chinese New
Year" campaign. The purpose was to
learn about organizing a press
conference in the heart of Bangkok and
creating public relations activities
using contemporary Chinese arts and
culture. The event featured
international-level highlights
including: ✨ A performance of
"Engkor," a traditional
Chinese folk dance based on one of the
Four Great Classical Novels, by the only
Thai performing troupe invited to
perform in China.
✨ A performance of auspicious drumming, a grand acrobatic show by the Hunan Acrobatic Institute from China.
✨ A performance featuring the Four Auspicious Mythical Creatures: Qilin, Pixiu, Lion, and the Auspicious Horse. Throughout the event, attendees experienced an auspicious atmosphere, cultural performances, lucky activities, and special offers from shops within the project, fully celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse. Furthermore, they enjoyed a special performance by Keng-Nampin, accompanied by a dragon, who offered blessings and good fortune to the honored guests and media representatives.✨
By experiencing the real-world working environment of a public relations professional, students gained a comprehensive understanding of the workflow, learned about work processes, communication, and media reception. Furthermore, they were able to share their experiences with their classmates. This field trip was part of the Strategic Media Relations course, taught by Assistant Professor Rewadee Waiwasana. We would like to express our gratitude to the One Bangkok organizers and team, and to Mr. Ek and Mr. Gob from Ogilvy for providing this opportunity to learn about both the front-end and back-end operations of a public relations organization.
