Suan Sunandha University's Communication Arts program is embracing the digital economy to promote sustainable community tourism in "Khlong Yong."

The Research and Academic Service Division of the College of Communication Arts organized a project to develop digital economic communication to upgrade tourism and community products in Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Nakhon Pathom Province. Assistant Professor Thanit Phrukthra, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, presided over the opening ceremony. Experts in product development served as consultants to the community on February 20, 2026, at the Digital Learning Center, College of Communication Arts. Leaders and representatives from eight villages in Khlong Yong Subdistrict participated in brainstorming and providing information on local products. The project aimed to utilize digital communication tools to create new selling points, attract tourists, and sustainably distribute income to the community. Furthermore, it sought collaborative approaches to strengthen the grassroots economy through modern communication. This project marks a significant step in connecting university knowledge to practical application, transforming local products into tangible income for the Khlong Yong community.
