
Two
journalism students were selected for
the “Little Pigeon
Journalists” training; the first
day was filled with fun. The Thai
Journalists Association and the US
Embassy in Thailand jointly organized
the “Little Pigeon Journalists
2025” training project from
January 15-18, 2025 at the Best Western
Hotel, Chatuchak. The project aimed to
enhance the potential of 36 students who
wish to pursue a career in mass
communication, who were selected from
more than 20 universities nationwide.
This project aims to prepare future
journalists through news reporting
training, advice from experienced senior
journalists, and building relationships
with seniors and friends who attended
the training. Two students from the
content creation and news program,
College of Communication Arts, Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University, were
selected to join the training: Mr.
Wiravat Singhtosiri and Ms. Ubonrak
Rattanawan. Mr. Wiravat, a student who
participated in the project, “From
being a student to a journalist, I am
very excited to join the activities that
the camp has prepared. It is also the
first day I get to meet friends from
other institutions who traveled from
every part of Thailand.” Ms.
Ubonrak said, “I am very happy.
Today I got to know friends from other
universities and practice unity. This is
a good opportunity for us to gain
knowledge, develop ourselves, and be
ready to practice to become journalists
in the future."
