The Federation of National Film Associations has revealed the shortlist of eight Thai films that will represent Thailand at the 99th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category. The selection was made by a panel of experts appointed from various fields, including film directors, producers, distributors, and cinema operators, ensuring a comprehensive representation of the film industry. It remains to be seen which film will be chosen to represent Thailand at this year's awards. The list of eight Thai films (in alphabetical order) is as follows:

 1. 9 Temples to Heaven

 2. Gohan 

3. Morte Cucina

 4. Human Resource (Please Consider) 

5. The Undertaker 2 

6. 4 Tigers 

7. Regretfully at Dawn 

8. In the Name of Love. 

The committee will select just one Thai film to represent Thailand at the 99th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category. The Federation of Thai Film Associations will announce the result soon.
