คณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษา แขนงวิชาการสร้างสรรค์เนื้อหาและงานข่าว วิทยาลัยนิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา จำนวน 80 คน เข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงานนอกสถานที่ ที่ไทยรัฐทีวี ทั้งในส่วนของงานเบื้องหน้าและเบื้องหลัง กองบรรณาธิการ กระบวนการผลิต เทคนิควิธีการในการผลิตรายการและข่าว พร้อมทั้งได้ศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมาของไทยรัฐในยุคแรกเริ่มจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2493 คุณกำพล วัชรพล ก่อตั้ง หนังสือพิมพ์ ”ภาพข่าว“  ต่อมาในปี 2502 และกลายมาเป็นหนังสือพิมพ์ ”ไทยรัฐ“ ในปี 2505 และในปี 2557 เข้าสู่ธุรกิจดิจิตอลทีวี ”ไทยรัฐทีวีช่อง32HD” โดยมีบริษัทในเครือได้แก่ ไทยรัฐ,ไทยรัฐออนไลน์,ไทยรัฐทีวีช่อง32HD,EVERPINK,THAIRATHLOGISTICS คุณกำพล วัชรพล ผู้อำนวยการหนังสือพิมพ์ไทยรัฐคนแรก ได้กล่าวไว้ว่า “หนังสือพิมพ์นั้นอยู่ได้ด้วยศรัทธาของประชาชน ฉะนั้นเมื่อมีโอกาสก็ควรจะตอบแทนประชาชน ประเทศชาติจะเจริญรุ่งเรืองกว่าที่เป็นอยู่ จำเป็นต้องส่งเสริมการศึกษาด้วยการสร้างคนและให้คนมาสร้างประเทศ” จึงได้เริ่มดำเนินโครงการ “โรงเรียนไทยรัฐวิทยา”ขึ้นมาพร้อมทั้งได้เรียนรู้การผลิตสื่อ การทำงานเบื้องหลัง และการแชร์ประสบการการทำงาน เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการเรียนการสอนและการต่อยอดอาชีพในอนาคตต่อไปการศึกษาเรียนรู้ดูงานในครั้งนี้มีขึ้นเมื่อวันอังคารที่ 12 มีนาคม  2567 สาขาวิชาการสร้างสรรค์เนื้อหาและงานข่าว ตั้งเป้าพานักศึกษาดูงานนอกสถานที่เพื่อเปิดประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียน เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในวิชาชีพปีละอย่างน้อยหนึ่งครั้ง โดยเมื่อปีที่แล้วนำนักศึกษาดูงานที่สถานีโทรทัศน์ไทยพีบีเอสเป็นต้น
