We would like to
thank everyone who participated in the
"Reduce, Stop, and Quit Using
Kratom Drinks" project. This event
highlighted the negative effects and
impacts of kratom. We were honored to
have two speakers, Police Lieutenant
Colonel Sophon Phumkumarn, Deputy
Superintendent of Crime Prevention and
Suppression at Phutthamonthon Police
Station, and Mr. Deddiao Wannachalee,
Public Health Specialist from the
Phutthamonthon District Public Health
Office, provide knowledge to community
members and students from Wat Maklua
School on preventing and avoiding
kratom. We hope this knowledge will be a
good starting point for better health in
the future. We would also like to thank
the organizations that helped make this
Social Engineering project a success:
the Advertising and Marketing
Communication branch of the College of
Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University; the Wat Maklua
community; Phutthamonthon Police
Station; and the Nakhon Pathom
Provincial Public Health Office. Our
deepest gratitude goes to Asst. Prof.
Isaree Pairaoh, Head of the Advertising
and Marketing Communication branch, as
the project advisor and supervisor.
