As part of the Social Engineering project in collaboration with the Wat Maklua community, Village No. 4, the issue of kratom consumption was identified. To highlight the immediate dangers of kratom in the community, educational materials were created, titled "Kratom: A Herbal Drink…or an Addictive Substance?" These materials illustrate the problems faced by kratom users, their impact on families and the community. Kratom, while seemingly harmless, is actually more dangerous and closer than anticipated. The Advertising and Marketing Communication program, Faculty of Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Wat Maklua community, the Phutthamonthon Police Station, and the Phutthamonthon Public Health Department, Nakhon Pathom Province, organized a training session on the dangers of kratom in the community. The event took place at the Wat Maklua School meeting room on March 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Associate Professor Isaree Pairaoh, Head of the Advertising and Marketing Communication program and project advisor, oversaw this Social Engineering project.
