



The College of Communication Arts at Suan Sunandha collaborates with the Senate and the National Children and Youth Council to harness the power of the younger generation to establish a 'Model Area of 8 Villages' in Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Nakhon Pathom

Led by Assistant Professor Thanit Phrukthara, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, along with a team of lecturers, the College of Communication Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, held a meeting with Senate members and the spokesperson (Acting President) of the National Children and Youth Council to jointly drive the power of children and the younger generation as 'Good Citizens' to participate in sustainable social development.
????This meeting aims
to develop the “8-Village Pilot
Area” in Khlong Yong Subdistrict,
Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom
Province, to improve the quality of life
for over 8,900 people in the community
through three main dimensions:

Food security: strengthening agriculture
systems and food management from
households to the community level.

Educational security: transferring
knowledge and skills from the university
to local schools to create opportunities
for children and youth.
- National
security: building strength, resilience,
and unity at the grassroots
level.
????The collaboration between
the legislative body, educational
institutions, and youth this time is an
important step in putting the royal
initiative into practice to drive the
growth of peri-urban agricultural
communities toward self-reliance and
sustainability.
